Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta which originally aired on June 1, 2009, has now come back to the small screen. The show starring late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande was touted to be one of the hit shows in the television industry. From Archana and Manav's soothing and sweet romance to the gripping storyline, Pavitra Rishta soon gained a cult status. After six years since the show went off air, it looks like the channel wants to take their viewers and fans down the memory lane as they have decided to get the show back on TV. Ankita Lokhande who essayed the role of Archana took to her Instagram stories and shared the glimpses of the very first episode of Pavitra Rishta.
 
Must say, after seeing the stories, nostalgia has hit us and how! While sharing the first episode glimpse, Ankita captioned it as, "Pavitra Rishta is back, 1st episode, watch now!" while tagging Ekta Kapoor and the channel followed by a heart emoticon. The show also starred Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Shruti Kanwar, Mrinalini Tyagi, Parag Tyagi, Savita Prabhune and many more. After the tragic demise of her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, she has been very active on social media, fighting for the justice. She keeps sharing her support to his family and shares some cryptic posts on her Instagram account. 
 
After Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested by NCB due to his connection with drugs, Ankita Lokhande took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of Om and backed it with "Har har Mahadev. #satyamevjayte #truthwins #justiceforsushant."
