Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’s Dayaben Aka Disha Vakani Has Quit The Show Permanently?
As per the latest reports, Disha Vakani might not return as Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. Apparently, the negotiations didn’t materialise between producers and Disha, hence, she decided to quit the show. Read deets here
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has been entertaining the audience for a very long time, all thanks to the comical plot and of course the characters - Jehthalal, Popatlal, Bhide and more. However, one person who has been missing from the screen for the longest time is Disha Vakani aka Dayaben. Ever since she went on her maternity break, only one question is on everyone’s mind ‘Will our Dayaben ever mark her return?’ Speaking of which, the latest report suggests that Disha might not return as Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.
Apparently, the negotiations didn’t materialise between producers and Disha, hence, she decided to quit the show. “After the maternity break, there definitely had been talks regarding the perfect plot to return. Producers had been in touch with Disha and there were some on-going negotiations that were being worked upon. But unfortunately, things did not materialise and Disha decided to quit,” a source informed Koimoi. “It’s has been long known to the director and producers that Disha Vakani is not returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. The reason behind them not announcing it officially remains a confusion even to many of us,” added the source.
Nevertheless, the neither makers nor Disha Vakani has given any official confirmation on the same but if it turns out to be true, it would surely be a devastating news for her fans.
After TMKOC completed 3000 episodes, the fans of the show requested the makers to bring back Dayaben. With people immensely missing her and congratulating the makers for achieving this milestone, they flooded social media with one of her popular dialogues, “Hey maa mata ji.”
