Sad, but true! Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's popular character Dayaben aka Disha Vakani will not return and this time hear it from Roshan Singh Sodhi himself
Yesterday, we brought you the unfortunate news that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma's most loved Dayaben aka Disha Vakani will no longer be a part of the show. Disha, who delivered a baby girl on November 30 2017, was expected to join the show after a few months. But in March 2018, the actress told the makers that she is yet not ready to get back to work as she wants to concentrate on bringing up her child. Since then, fans have been waiting endlessly to see Dayaben make a comeback. But as we informed you last evening, that's just not happening.
A source had told us, "Daya had laid some conditions with her timings and availability along with monetary concerns to makers, who in return said that they would love to have her back, but cannot comply with her conditions. Discussions went on and on for months, but now, the final outcome is that both parties have mutually decided to end their association".

Now, we got in touch with her co-star Gurucharan Singh who essays the character of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the show. The actor confirmed her exit and said, "We haven't been informed with any such development. But yes, she wanted to take care of her baby. So she has gone for a break".
