Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Director Malav Rajda REVEALS If Dayaben AKA Disha Vakani Is Returning To The Show
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running comedy shows. Dayaben aka Disha Vakani has been missing from the show since 2017 and fans are eagerly waiting for her comeback. Malav recently revealed if Disha is finally returning to the show or not.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved TV shows. The show often comes in the top 5 of the TRP list. From Jethalal, Iyer to Bhide's hilarious dialogues and punch lines, everything about the show makes it a fan-favourite. As many know, Dayaben aka Disha Vakani has been missing from the show since 2017. Fans of the actress have been missing her on-screen. Reports of the actress returning to the show keeps making headlines. There were several reports that the makers were trying to bring her back but it got delayed due to the COVID-19 situation.
The director of TMKOC recently opened up about the actress' return to the show. One of the show's fans requested the makers to bring Disha Vakani on the show. Others even asked the show's director to replace Disha Vakani. Responding to the fans' requests, Malav Rajda said that there's nothing he can do to retain or replace any actor on the show.
He said, "Mein zyada bolunga toh naya director le aayenge.. it's not in my hands at all. I just direct the show... can't take a decision regarding actors n lot of other things but jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai." Only time will tell whether or not Disha Vakani is returning to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
Disha Vakani won many hearts with her spectacular performance as Dayaben in the show. For the uninitiated, she tied the knot to a Mumbai-based chartered accountant named Mayur Padia in 2015, and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl in 2017.
