Dayaben’s absence from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah definitely pinched avid viewers of the show. It’s been around 3 years that the actress has gone missing. Her maternity break got extended too long and this year, there were talks of the actress planning to make a comeback in October.
SpotboyE.com had exclusively revealed that Disha will re-enter TMKOC during a Navratri sequence. In fact, a scene of the actress shooting for the same at a Borivali temple wherein she does a video call with Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) also went viral. But nothing materialised thereafter and the question on her highly awaited return continued to remain a mystery.
Now, according to a source, Disha Vakani may not return on the show anytime soon. Like we already told you that she kept a demand of working 6 hours a day as she wants to dedicate time to her family, especially her daughter. While producer Asit Modi seems to be ready, some actors raised objections. The source states that certain actors aren’t too keen with Disha’s condition because that would mean a delay in their scenes getting shot as per schedule. So, for now, the makers have kept the discussions aside and no developments are happening whatsoever in that direction.
