Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's producer Asit Kumarr Modi reveals whether Raj Anadkar is quitting the show or not
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most-loved shows on television. TMKOC has been making headlines lately for multiple reasons. In case you don't know, Raj Anadkat, who essays the role of Tapu, is reportedly quitting the show.
A source was quoted by Koimoi as saying, "The journey has been bittersweet with Raj. There have been multiple times that the team has tried to make amends with him but things aren't working out anymore. Neither is he willing to stick for too long nor the cast and crew is keen on asking him to stay."
It is not known if Raj has already put down his papers or the conversation regarding the same is still on. Producer Asit Kumarr Modi was asked about the same, and he said, "Pata nahi mujhe kuch. Nahi, mujhe nahi pata hai." Raj has not reacted to the news yet. Meanwhile, earlier this year, there were reports and he and his co-star Munmun Dutta aka Babita ji are dating. Given the age difference between the two, the actors were brutally trolled on social media. He later took to Instagram to address the rumours. He wrote, "To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your 'COOKED UP' (false) stories and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelise your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense."
