Television show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has a huge fan base and is considered to be one of the most popular shows in the running. As the show is one of the longest-running shows currently, the popularity of it in fans is at its peak. The show is widely popular for the characters of Jethalal and Daya Ben, the husband-wife duo on the show. As the fans of the show have missed the presence of their favourite character of Daya Ben aka Disha Vakani on the show, speculations are that the actress might make her comeback on the show once again.
Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben married husband Mayur Pandya in 2015 and post that, the actress took a brief maternity leave. As the actress was expected to return after the maternity break, Disha Vakani never came back to the show and since then reports regarding if she’s making a comeback or not on the show have been hitting the headlines. Recently a throwback picture of the actress from the sets of the show was posted on a social media handle which presumably is Disha Vakani’s official handle. As the post teased the actresses’ joining on the show, fans without missing a moment too to the comments section requesting her return on the show.
Meanwhile, in an interview with DNA, when Dilip was questioned if Disha Vakani was being replaced from the show, he said that he doesn’t know and added never say never. He further added, that he is fine working with a new Dayaben but Disha might also, return as Dayaben and said he’s hoping and keeping his fingers crossed about it.
Recently, SpotboyE.com also exclusively broke the news that Vibhuti Sharma was supposed to step into the shoes of Disha Vakani’s character of Daya Ben, but the actress had not signed on the dotted line as of yet. While posting her maternity leave, Disha’s comebacks terms and conditions were highly unacceptable by producer Asit Modi.
