Mahhi Vij Slaps Molester TWICE After He Gropes Her At A Nightclub

TV actress Mahhi Vij, who was last seen in Balika Vadhu, showcased exemplary courage when she slapped a molester who groped her at a nightclub.
Mahhi was partying with husband Jay Bhanushali and a friend when the incident happened. A man groped her from behind and although, she froze for a couple of minutes, gave it back to him by slapping him hard.
The actress told a leading daily, “I had gone to the washroom. On the way back to the table, a man groped me. I was so furious, I slapped him twice. However, there was no remorse on his face. I then rushed to Jay and asked him to confront the guy, but he had vanished by then. I couldn't even lodge a police complaint as he couldn't be identified."
Mahhi was brave enough to teach him a lesson but regrets that he couldn’t be nabbed. “They pollute our society. I am glad I could give it back to him. My only regret is that he got away before we could nab him.”
Last month, Pankhuri Awasthy, who essays a rape victim in the show Kya Kasoor Hai Amla Ka? opened up about slapping a man who touched her inappropriately.
The actress was in Bengaluru hanging out with friends when a man stroked her thighs (Pankhuri was wearing a skirt). She turned around and slapped him then and there.
The actress also confessed that she is proud of speaking against sexual harassment. “I stop there and abuse the person. I can’t keep quiet now. I am proud of myself for doing that,” she had told a section of the media.
