The Kapil Sharma Show Highlights: Karisma Kapoor Reacts To Neetu Kapoor’s ‘Andar Se Lallu’, 'Fake Arrogance’ Remarks; Randhir Kapoor Talks About His Relationship With Babita
During their appearance on TKSS, Karisma Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor shared anecdotes and unknown facts about the Kapoor family.
Karisma Kapoor and her father, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor appeared on the popular comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Saturday night. The father-daughter duo was at their candid best as they shared anecdotes and unknown facts about the legendary Kapoor family. Karisma also reacted to Neetu Kapoor’s remark that the Kapoors are "lallu inside and have fake arrogance."
It so happened that host Kapil Sharma played a clip from a recent episode featuring Karisma’s aunt Neetu Kapoor and cousin Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. The video showed Neetu saying that the Kapoors have a ‘fake arrogance’ in them. “Matlab ki andar se lallu hai, upar se rubaab (They have a facade of pride but are fools inside)," she said.
Karisma at first looked surprised but then after watching the entire clip, she said that the Kapoors are ‘strong’ on the outside, but ‘sensitive’ on the inside. She told Kapil, “We are so honest and sensitive." She also added that the family members never fight among themselves. “Everybody is bonded. Touchwood," she said.
On the other hand, Randhir Kapoor revealed to Kapil that he was doing ‘timepass’ when he was in a relationship with his now-estranged wife Babita Kapoor. His parents - the late Raj Kapoor and the late Krishna Raj Kapoor - got them married.
Randhir Kapoor shared, “Main timepass kiye jaa raha tha. My father was like, ‘Shaadi vaadi karne ka iraada hai ki nahi?’" He said that he did plan to get married to Babita, but Raj Kapoor asked him 'Jab woh buddhi ho jayegi shaadi karega usse (Will you marry her when she gets old)?'
Randhir Kapoor then quipped that he did not have to propose to Babita as his parents did so on his behalf.
