The Kapil Sharma Show has returned to the TV screens after a gap of few months. The third season of the show premiered on August 21, and the first episode had Ajay Devgn and the cast of 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' as their special guests. The next episode was graced by Akshay Kumar and his Bell Bottom team. While fans are excited to know who the next celebrity guests on the show are, Archana Puran Singh has revealed that the upcoming episode will see the Indian men and women hockey teams.

The Olympic bronze medal-winning men’s hockey players Manpreet Singh, PR Sreejesh, Rupinder Pal Singh, Birendra Lakra, Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Mandeep Singh and Harmanpreet Singh and Rani Rampal, Savita, Gurjit Kaur, Neha Goyal, Sushila Chanu and Navneet from the women’s team will be welcomed by host Kapil Sharma.

Taking to Instagram, Archana shared a BTS video from the set of TKSS. In the clip, she said, “Hi guys, we have today the Hockey team. We have seven members from each of the Indian Men and Women Hockey Teams. I can’t tell you how wonderful it feels to meet and have them as guests. As a country what they have done, it’s very proud. It’s such an honour to have them.”

All the players can be seen sitting on a couch as Archana captured them. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Hindustan ka garv. Humaari hockey teams. Humaare manch par. Jald hi aapke screens par. Wait for this episode!”

Manpreet Singh, captain of the men's hockey team, took to Twitter to express his gratitude. He posted, "Had so much fun last night and good to be back at The Kapil Sharma Show once again - thank you for having us @KapilSharmaK9 sir and team #kapilsharmashow."


Krushna Abhishek also shared his experience of shooting with the Indian hockey teams and said that it was an honour to make them laugh. He shared a couple of photos with the players including Manpreet and Mandip Singh and captioned it as, “Every artist is always happy to perform on stage but today was special day to perform in front of real-life heroes who made our nation proud .. it made me feel so special to make them laugh and give them some light moments..”
