Actress Juhi Chawla recently made an appearance on the popular comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show. She was joined by other actresses Ayesha Jhulka and Madhoo and the fun-filled episode saw them sharing some of their memorable moments from their Bollywood journey. Juhi was at her candid best as she revealed many interesting anecdotes from her personal life. The Ishq actress also revealed that her friend and co-star from many films Shah Rukh Khan was not the first choice to play Rahul in the classic movie ‘Darr’.
Taking to Instagram, Juhi shared a funny BTS video from the sets, revealing that Dara Singh was the original choice for SRK’s role in Yash Chopra’s directorial. Alongside the clip, she wrote, “Spilling some secrets Aaaho.”
The hilarious video showed Juhi shooting for an Instagram reels video with Sudesh Lehri. She fumbled her lines at first and asked the person to start afresh. She then said that late actor Dara Singh, not actor Shah Rukh Khan, was the original choice for the lead role in Darr.
Sudesh then mimicked Dara and recited a few popular lines from the movie. In Dara Singh’s style, the ace comedian said, “Tu hai meri Kiran, tu hai meri Kiran, tu hai meri Kiran, Jay Mehta,” he concluded, leaving Juhi shocked. She looked at him and asked, “Kya (What)?” He said ‘aaho’, and she replied ‘oho’, before bursting into laughter.
Previously, Juhi Chawla was seen in ‘Zee Comedy Show’, where she shared a funny incident of inviting Shah Rukh to a party and revealed he arrived after the party was over and all had gone home.
