Kapil Sharma was seen getting nervous while interacting with Deepika Padukone on The Kapil Sharma Show
Gehraiyaan stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa will appear on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film. A promo of the episode was shared by Sony Entertainment Television and it shows the cast having fun on the show. Kapil praised DP for experimenting with different genres.
The comedian then asked her if she wanted to make a comedy film. Hinting at himself, he continued, "Ek ladka aaj Twitter pe trend kar raha hai." Deepika laughed as she asked him if he was talking about himself. The actress then said that she would want Kapil to be her co-star as well as the director. "Agar aap produce karna chahe toh aap produce bhi kar sakte hai." He replied, "Deepika ke liye toh main dobara.. saari daulat lelo aap, laga do."
He then got nervous and forgot his lines. "Mein sahi mein, sawaal bhul jaata hu main." Deepika then pulled his leg saying, "Kya hua Kapil? Script bhul gaye." Kapil replied, "Kuch nahi, kya bataun abhi? Yeh kaash pehle pooch li hoti ki kya hua, toh hum pehle bata dete." Directed by Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. The movie will have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 11.
Apart from Gehraiyaan, Deepika will also be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Deepika opened up about working with Hrithik and said, "I have always wanted to work with him, I feel like, you know sometimes it's not just about wanting to work with someone, I just feel like there are so many things, it has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, it has to be the right time in your life. There are so many things that decide, so yeah, I guess it's the right time for us to come together."
She also has Pathan, Project K and The Intern.
