The wait for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ fans is finally over as the show is all set to return to Sony Television on September 10. The promo of the first episode is finally here, and fans will witness the appearance of Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh.

The video featured Kiku Sharda asking Akshay Kumar if he is friends with Ranveer Singh and says "Humari taraf se sorry bol dijiyega. Hum kapde pohochaane mein thoda late ho gaye. Koi aa kar unka bina kapdon mein photo le liya (Tell him that I am sorry for what I did. I took his clothes to wash and I delivered it back late. In the meantime, someone came and clicked his photos)."
The hilarious joke comes after Ranveer Singh did a photo shoot for Paper magazine in July. The actor posed nude on a rug and the pictures divided the internet while some people lauded him for bravely showing his own skin. However, a section of social media users trolled him for obscene acts and they even slammed him for the same. A few FIR was also registered against the actor.
Meanwhile, speaking about ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the comedy show began in 2017 and has aired 387 episodes over three seasons so far. The show became a huge success across the globe and its last episode aired in June this year. Following this, the cast took a break and they travelled to the US and Canada for Kapil Sharma's comedy tour.

In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Krushna Abhishek confirmed earlier that he will not be returning to the show. He said, "Not doing it. Agreement issues." Recently, actor Chandan Prabhakar revealed that he will also not return to the show.
