The Kapil Sharma Show: Krushna Abhishek Mentions 'Mama' Govinda In Latest Episode; Tells Udit Narayan 'Aapko Dekh Ke Mamaji Ki Yaad Aa Gayi'
Legendary singers Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Anuradha Paudwal graced The Kapil Sharma Show last night
Govinda and Krushna Abhishek had a major public fallout a few years ago. Since then, their families have maintained a distance from each other - but of course, not from the headlines. Their wives make sure to slam each other in public. This ensued again when recently Krushna skipped the Govinda special episode on The Kapil Sharma Show, leading to the latter's wife Sunita Ahuja lashing out at the comedian. Krushna' wife Kashmera Shah also took potshots at Govinda's wife.
Amid this, Krushna mentioned his mama once again, and yet again, during his performance as Sapna on TKSS' latest episode.
In the latest episode, singers Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Anuradha Paudwal graced the show. On greeting Udit Narayan, Krushna, who plays the character of Sapna, told the singer, "Aapko dekh ke mamaji ki yaad aa gayi" (seeing you reminded me of uncle) referring to Govinda. Hearing this, Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh and others burst into laughter. And there was no reaction from either of the legendary singers.
Krushna had a few days ago mentioned he wants to mend issues between the two families. While taking Lord Ganesha's idol to his car, Krushna was asked about his relations with his uncle. As per an ANI report, Krushna said, "Mama mami main chahta hoon yeh bhi problem Ganpati ji solved kardein parivaar ki, kyunki hum sab eik doosre ko pyaar karte hai.. Bhale internal issues hote hai.. Woh bhi solve ho jaayein bas yehi pray karta hoon. Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Sunita said that she never wants to see Krushna's face again. Reacting to this, Krushna told SpotboyE, "I know my mami said a lot of things against me. Of course, I was upset. But now I feel they are so angry with me because they love me the most. Saying something as filmy as 'I don't want to see his face ever again' shows they are hurt. And you can only get hurt by someone who loves you."
"I love my mama and mami. I seek their forgiveness," Krushna later told Subhash K Jha.
