Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta starrer Koi Mil Gaya clocked 18 years on August 10, 2021. The Indian sci-fi film gifted the audience with its first alien named, Jadoo on screen. Followed by the movie’s tremendous success, this character of Jadoo became a rage. And now, we have come across a well-kept secret of this successful movie. It came as a surprise as the character who slipped into Jadoo's avatar is associated with popular sitcom. Well, you read it right!
The actor who played Jadoo was actor Indravadan Purohit who appeared on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He played one of the distant relatives of Dayaben previously played by Disha Vakani. He was seen in one of the episodes where Daya’s onscreen brother Sundar arrives at her residence with his Shri Sai Bhakt Mandal team. He also acted in several movies and TV shows. Specially able, he was vertically challenged. But that did not stop him as he went to star in 250 films in over six languages.
The actor died on September 28, 2014.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completed 13 years and team celebrated this big day by hosting a celebration on the sets.
