Several TV actors turned parents this year and one more gets added to the list as Diya Aur Baati Hum actor Anas Rashid welcomed a baby girl on February 11 and announced the same with a video.
In the video, an overjoyed Anas shares the news as he writes, “Hi dear ones, We are blessed with a baby girl yesterday. Both mother and baby are in good health. Thank you all for your blessings and wishes. Anas Rashid”

Anas married Heena Iqbal in 2017. Heena is 14 years younger than Anas. The actor who has been a part of shows like Kahiin To Hoga, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Aise Karo Naa Vidaa and most recently Diya Aur Baati Hum, took a break from TV to spend time with his loved ones.
Some months back, in an interview, Anas was all praises for his wife as he said, "She supports all my decisions. In fact she was surprised to hear this when I said I am planning to quit TV for now and become a farmer. However, she keeps telling me I can't believe that a TV star like you can do all this work with so much of dedication.”
