TV Actor Thakur Anoop Singh Wins Mr World Title
Television actor Thakur Anoop Singh is the new Mr World. He won the title at the contest held in Thailand yesterday. The model-turned-actor, who has played Dhritarashtra in television show Mahabharat -- it marked his acting debut -- had earlier won bronze medal in the Mr Asia contest.

Anoop shared the good news with his fans on Twitter:
The model-turned-actor, who has played Dhritarashtra in television show Mahabharat -- it marked his acting debut -- had earlier won bronze medal in the Mr Asia contest.
A trained pilot, he is also planning to work in movies. "I have got my big break in movies. However, I will take some time to disclose about it. My idea will be to do movies down South, and take up mainstream Bollywood movies, and also do good work in Marathi cinema," he told media a few days ago.
