Speaking of this, the actress recently revealed why society still doesn’t see acting as a good profession. Mahika made some explosive claims, exposing the dark side of the industry.
Mahika Sharma shared with SpotboyE, “In the entertainment industry, actresses are always seen as sexual objects especially when you are not a nepotism product. Many girls become victims to either a casting director or producers. That is why society doesn’t see acting as a good profession. People here think we actresses are high-profile prostitutes. With time, people would not grow their mentality and show respect to us. Interestingly, there are speculations that Mahika will be seen in the upcoming show, tentatively titled 'Sansaar' which is said to be inspired by Karisma Kapoor and Govinda’s 1994 blockbuster movie 'Raja Babu'. Reportedly, actor Pearl V. Puri is being considered to step into Govinda’s shoes. If this news turns out to be true then Mahika Sharma will play the character similar to Karisma on the show.
Meanwhile, the former Miss Teen Northeast has turned a year older today and is celebrating her birthday with her loved ones. The Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai actress, who was stranded in London for the past four months due to Covid 19, returned back to India to celebrate her special day with her family.
