We have always seen our television bahus in traditional looks – their perfectly pleated saris teamed with costume jewellery. Swara (Swaragini)
Always seen in heavy anarkalis and big jhumkas, we wanted to see Swara aka Helly Shah in a peppy look. And she appeared in a glamorous avatar in a recent episode where she was seen enjoying a picnic date with her fiancé Sanskaar.
Pragya (Kumkum Bhagya)
Pragya aka Sriti Jha’s makeover from a chashmish to a diva was a much needed one. In her new look, Pragya was confident, powerful and gorgeous. Thank God she gave those spectacles a miss!
Sarojini (Sarojini: Ek Nayi Pehal)
Shiny Doshi, who plays the title role in Sarojini, had the most extraordinary makeover. The actress surprised everyone with her blonde look. New name and new identity, Sarojini as Suzie rocked her new avatar.
Ishani (Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi)
Radhika Madan, who plays Ishani, had an image makeover of sorts – the actress is now seen in sexy chiffon sarees and anarkalis. In one of the episodes, Ishani was even shown sporting a peplum top with a floral printed skirt. Isn’t it refreshing to see her try out something new?
