Twist: Surbhi Jyoti Will Not Play Naagin In The Show’s Third Instalment
Trust Ekta Kapoor to take audience by surprise. SpotboyE.com has learnt that Surbhi Jyoti will not be seen as a naagin to begin with in the franchise's third part. Here’s what the TV czarina has planned for the actress
For all Surbhi Jyoti fans,
who were waiting to see the actress as a naagin in Season 3 of the show, here’s
some bad news.
Surbhi will not be seen in
a ‘naagin avatar’ to begin with and will instead essay the role of a farmer’s
daughter, Bela.
Talking about her
character, the actress recently said, "My character’s father is a farmer
and under a lot of debt. Bela helps him get him get out of the situation and
the obstacles she faces along the way form the journey of the character.”
When asked if she will
also be a Naagin in the show, the actress replied, "That I can't reveal,
of course. It's a surprise and that's why the makers didn’t reveal my character
in the promo. It’s their strategy and I am glad it’s working (laughs).”
Meanwhile, earlier this month, the makers dropped the promo of
Naagin 3 starring Karishma Tanna, Rajat Tokas and Ankit Mohan.
One look at the clip and we couldn’t help but notice that
the plot of Naagin 3 is strikingly similar to Reena Roy and Jeetendra starrer
Nagin (1979).
We had earlier told you that Karishma Tanna’s character will die
within months of the show going on-air. Similarly, Rajat will also be part of the show for a month and later
the storyline will revolve around Anita Hassnandani, Surbhi Jyoti and Pearl V
Puri.
Well, we can’t wait to find out how the story unfolds once the show begins.
