Uorfi Javed Bashes Ameesha Patel For Her Homophobic Remarks; Says, ‘Not Getting Work For 25 Years, Made Her Into A Bitter Person’
Internet sensation Uorfi Javed often makes the headlines for her bold statements. Known for ‘best-out-of-waste’ fashion statements, she takes to her official social media handles to express her thoughts on many ongoing matters. She recently condemned actress Ameesha Patel for claiming that the content on OTT is filled with homosexuality. Taking to her Instagram story, she shared the Gadar 2 actress’ interview clip and called her a bitter person.

Uorfi took a dig at Ameesha's debut movie ‘Kaho na Pyar Hai’ and wondered if the title was only for straight people. Quoted by Bollywood Life, she wrote, “What is actually gayism, lesbianism? Keep your children away from it? So when she said ‘kaho na Pyar hai’ she meant only straight people. Public figures speaking without educating themselves on such sensitive topics really irks me! This is not the first time Uorfi has taken a stand for the LGBTQ+ community. Earlier in January this year, she had bash Sadhguru for stating that the community is a part of a campaign, where people are defying nature. He goes on to say how because they are sharing their experiences the ‘campaign’ is spreading all over. Lashing out at his views, the 25-year-old called his views as propaganda and expressed how people should acknowledge the community and let them know that it is okay to be themselves. For the unversed, Uorfi Javed has been a part of multiple television serials like Meri Durga, Bepannaah, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay among many others. She rose to fame because of her ‘best out of waste’ clothing and her stunt on Bigg Boss OTT.
