Urvashi Dholakia Says Her Children Often Ask Her To Get Married Or Date Someone: ‘I Always Laugh It Off’
In a recent interview, Urvashi Dholakia opened up about her views on love and relationships, and also revealed that her kids and family want her to settle down
Urvashi Dholakia, most popularly known for playing the role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s first installment of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, got married when she was just 16 years old. She raised her two kids Sagar and Kshitij as a single mother. The trio share a great bond with each other, and are known to make some really entertaining Instagram reels. In a recent interview, Urvashi Dholakia opened up about her views on love and relationships, and also revealed that her kids and family want her to settle down.
While speaking with ETimes, Urvashi Dholakia said she hasn’t ever really had enough time to think about love and relationships. She said that she has always been busy working and making sure that her sons get good education and enjoy a comfortable life. Sharing her views on an ideal relationship, Urvashi said that one should be themselves, and not have to change themselves to be in a relationship. She further said that while her kids and family do want her to settle down, she hasn’t seriously thought about it.
“My children and family want me to settle down but I haven’t given it a serious thought yet (laughs). My children often ask me to get married or date someone but whenever I’m faced with these topics, I always laugh it off,” she said. She said that she doesn’t overthink things, and that she believes things will happen, if they have to. Urvashi, being an independent woman, also added that she would need someone to understand her independence, and not undermine it.
