TV actress Vaishali Takkar, who committed suicide on Sunday, was stressed and was being harassed by her former boyfriend
Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar was found hanging at her residence in Indore on Sunday. Her tragic demise sent shockwaves across the tinsel town with celebs expressing shock at her untimely death. Police found a suicide note near her dead body and are currently investigating her death. Now as per the latest report in ANI, Vaishali was stressed and was being harassed by her former boyfriend. The late actress’ family told police they had no clue that Vaishali would take such an extreme step.
Indore Assistant Commissioner of Police M Rahman revealed that they found a suicide note on reaching the spot and sent her dead body to Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital for post-mortem. As per him, the actress committed suicide as she was being harassed by her former boyfriend. In a statement to the police, Vaishali’s father mentioned that when she didn’t come out of her room on Sunday morning, he went in and found her hanging.
On October 16, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress took this drastic step. A case has been registered at Tejaji Nagar police station. A love angle has been suspected of Vaishali’s suicide case. Vaishali started her career with Rajan Shahi’s popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of Sanjana Singh aka Sanju. Takkar had also been featured in several other TV shows like ‘Yeh Vaada Raha’, ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ ‘Vrinda’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka.’ She was last seen in ‘Rakshabandhan’ opposite Nishant Malkani. The late actress was living in Indore for the past year.
