Vandana Sajnani Khattar Opens Up About Her Relationship With Rajesh Khattar’s Ex-Wife Neliima Azeem And Step-Son Ishaan Khatter
In a recent chat, Vandana Sajnani Khattar talks about her bond with Rajesh Khattar’s ex-family. She says she has a friendly relationship with his ex-wife Neliima Azeem while Ishaan Khatter is in touch with them
Actor Vandana Sajnani Khattar got married to actor Rajesh Khattar in 2008 after he parted ways from Neliima Azeem. Rajesh Khattar and Neliima Azmi share a son, Ishaan Khatter. In a recent interview, Vandana made some candid confessions regarding her bond with Khattar’s ex-family. Vandana said that she has a friendly relationship with his ex-wife Neliima Azeem while Ishaan Khatter is in touch with them. Mrs Khattar shared that the Dhadak actor had come home when Rajesh and her son, Yuvaan, was born in 2019.
Vandana also revealed that Ishaan and Yuvaan share a brotherly bond, “When Yuvaan was born, Ishaan came home, he was very tiny of course, so there was no interaction as such. So, Ishaan was playing with him and all of that, then they had a couple of video calls and stuff,” Vandana told Bollywood Bubble. She even mentioned that she used to frequently visit Ishaan’s house but due to the lockdown, she hasn’t got a chance. She continued, “I am very friendly with Neliima also. So, we used to go there sometimes or they used to come home.”
“Neliima (Azeem) has come home even after that, she has seen Yuvaan in a little more grown stage. However, then the lockdown happened, Ishaan was off to Goa for some time, and we were also home-bound. But, Ishaan has been very much in touch, all of us actually,” Ishaan’s step-mom concluded.
Meanwhile, after Yuvaan was born, Vandana was suffering from postpartum depression after she lost one of her twins while Yuvaan was born prematurely. On the other hand, Rajesh Khattar was recently tested positive for COVID-19 and got admitted to a hospital for his family's safety.
