Small-screen actress Jaswir Kaur, last seen in SAB TV's Krishna Kanhaiya, is all set to tie the knot with her investment banker boyfriend Vishal Madlani.
Small-screen actress Jaswir Kaur, last seen in SAB TV's Krishna Kanhaiya, is all set to tie the knot with her investment banker boyfriend Vishal Madlani.
The marriage is likely to take place next year.
Last night, the couple was spotted at a television calendar party.
Talking to SpotboyE, Jassi (as she is fondly called) said, "I took my own sweet time to say 'Yes' to Vishal.Unlike others who jump into relationships on the rebound, I needed to be sure that Vishal was the right person for me. One should learn from his/her mistakes."
For those who've come in late, the actress had divorced her first husband actor Aziz Khan a few years back. The couple had tied the knot against their parents' wishes in 2006 after living-in for two years.
Jassi added, "Vishal and I met at a gym (they share the same instructor) over two years ago and started hanging out after workouts. We bonded over milkshakes and coffee."
This time also, the couple met with resistance from her parents. "It took a while to convince our respective parents, but things are on track now. What I like best about him is that he cares for me. After all, that is what every girl is looking for in her man."
How did he propose? we asked. " He did the old-school thing -- driving all the way for my birthday to Surat where I was shooting for a fashion show. He even kept a surprise bash for me, and had invited my friends over. On the way to the party, he popped the question."
Vishal, also owns a dance academy mentored by well-known choreographers Saroj Khan and Sandip Soparrkar, seemed a bit out of place in the party among the TV crowd. "Oh come on, my man is a fast learner," Jassi concluded with a smile.
