In his statement, he also claimed that Sam and Poonam conspired the entire incident together and made a mockery out of a serious illness. Quoted by Bollywood Life, his statement read, “Poonam Pandey and her husband, Sam Bombay conspired to stage her death, making a mockery of a serious illness like cancer. It is to be noted that, during an interview, after the Nasha actress’ death news announcement, her estranged husband had stated that he didn’t feel a sense of loss after reading about her passing. He was quoted saying, “Why do I feel nothing? Because when you're connected, you feel everything. I think about her (Poonam Pandey) every day. And, I pray for her every day. If something was wrong, I'd know.” Calling her the boldest Indian woman, he stated that Ponam will one day be celebrated.
For the unversed, Poonam Pandey’s manager confirmed the news of her death after her social media post had gone viral.
