WHAT! Shark Tank India Judges GHOSTED A Pitcher After Making A Deal, Alleges Akshay Shah; Shares, ‘In Season 1 What We Faced Was Worse’
Shark Tank India is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. While the ongoing season is being termed as dramatic, it continues to give budding entrepreneurs a platform to promote their brands, irrespective of if they get funding from the sharks or not. However it is often seen that the pitchers have taken to their respective social media platforms to share their experiences both good and bad.

Akshay Shah, founder and CEO of iWebTechno, the finalist of the reality show’s first season, recently took to Twitter to share a horrible experience by an unnamed entrepreneur, who was also a part of the show. Through his tweet, Shah expressed how two of the judges from last season, never met or reply to the emails of a co-contestant. He wrote, “Met a founder yesterday who had got a deal from 2 sharks in season 1 and who never met him nor responded to his mails post #SharkTankIndia - Ab kya bolen? #Chutiyapa.” ALSO READ: Shark Tank India 2: Anupam Mittal Criticizes Blue Tea Brand Pitchers For Giving Wrong Information; Says, ‘You Are Doing Gimmickry’

When one questioned the credibility of the tweet, he said, “Like I said most founders fear, I am helpless :) In season 1 what we faced, more than 50% others faced the same or worse, the outcome being Ashneer was shown the door and sharks counselled not to be rude and brash and be considerate but no founder came out in the open!” ALSO READ: Shark Tank India 2: AI Snaps Of Ashneer Grover, Namita Thapar, And Other Sharks Go VIRAL; Anupam Mittal Gets ANGRY, Says ‘Kyun Sata Rahe Ho’

Talking about the show, the show is the Indian franchise of the American show of the same name, where known entrepreneurs listen to different business ideas and decide whether or not they want to invest in those ideas.

The current season sees Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boat), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com) and Amit Jain (Co-Founder of CarDekho) as the sharks.
