Sidharth Sagar has reacted to reports stating that he has quit The Kapil Sharma Show due to monetary reasons
Television comedian Sidharth Sagar has made a name for himself. Currently a part of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, it was being reported that he has quit the show after the makers of the show dined to hike his fees. Reacting to the same, Sidharth has denied all the reports and called them fake.
During an interaction with Indian Express, the comedian opened up about the ongoing reports and whether he is shooting for the upcoming episodes of the show. He told the established media publication that there is no truth to any of the media reports. Talking about shooting for the episodes, he said, “I did not shoot for the last few episodes. For the unversed, the show witnessed the exit of Krushna Abhishek due to a problem with the channel that the show airs on. An ETimes report had stated that after being denied a hike in his fees, Sidharth decided to quit the show. Addressing the same, the comedian said, “I have no reaction since I don’t even know what has been out in the media. Talking about Krushna, who is currently hosting a chat show of his own, Bigg Buzz where he interacts with the evicted contestants of Bigg Boss 16, during his interview with Indian Express has expressed his desire to work with Kapil again. He had said, “I really want to work with him, and I am sure we will work out something. I really respect Kapil, and I think he will say the same thing about me. Hum bohot jald saath mein aayenge. I really miss him and the team. I love Kiku Sharda so much. They are such wonderful people. Even when things did not work out with Sony, they are also my family. I have been on the channel for so long, it’s like my own home. As they say, ‘subah ka bhula agar shaam ko ghar aajaye, toh usse bhula nahi kehte‘.”
Currently the comedy chat show, sees Kapil Sharma, Sumona Chakravarty, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda and Chandan Prabhakar alongwith Sidharth entertaining the audience by donning different characters. It is one of the most loved shows on Indian television.
