Bigg Boss 16 is all set to hit the television screen and entertain fans. As the show is approaching the premiere date, the makers are finally revealing the contestants. First, they revealed Chhoti Sardarni fame Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and now the host of the show Salman Khan himself revealed another contestant Abdu Rozik.
The press conference for Bigg Boss 16 was organized on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in Mumbai. At the press conference, Dabangg Khan introduced him as a performer and announced that Tajikistan singer Abdu Rozik is the first contestant on the reality show.
He even requested Abdu to sing a few songs and entertain the attendees of the press conference. He sang Dil Deewana from Maine Pyar Kiya and impressed Khan. Salman praised him and said, “It is great, he does not understand Hindi but can sing Hindi songs.”
Further, the ‘Wanted’ star revealed that Rozik will also be seen in his most anticipated film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan slated to release next year.
Meanwhile discussing the show, the Tajikistan singer said that Bigg Boss is about drama, however, the ‘Tubelight’ actor said that the reality show has its fair share of romance as well.
Abdu shared his excitement about joining the reality show and said, “I am very happy. I am excited to go inside the house. I love everyone, please support me, please vote for me, and please don’t fight with me.”
For the unversed, Abdu Rozik is a renowned singer who has a YouTube channel called Avlod Media which features 580k subscribers. He has 3.5 million followers on Instagram where he shares pictures with well-known celebrities. As per certain reports he belongs to a family of gardeners. This 18-year-old singer has won everyone’s hearts with his song ‘Ohi Dili Zor’.
Bigg Boss 16 will premiere on Colors TV on October 1, 2022.
