Whoa! AR Rahman to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show

We all know AR Rahman to be unusually reserved and reticent. But you can count on the country’s funniest man to get him to open up.
SpotboyE.com has it that Rahman will be appearing on one of the upcoming episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony. Now, that’s a first of sorts. Rahman, who is known to be fiercely media shy, has so far always turned down offers to be on any television show. But this time, he made an exception for Kapil.
Unlike most of Kapil’s episodes which sees more than 1 guest, this one will only feature Rahman. The stand-up comedian was more than happy to have him as a solo guest. We hear, the episode was shot on Thursday.
And here’s a sneak peek into the episode:
Rahman has been in the news of late for his composition of the Premier Futsal anthem, Naam Hai Futsal. The song sees Rahman sharing screen space with Indian cricket’s current sensation Virat Kohli. The music maestro was in the city this week to launch the official anthem.
