Actor Shalin Bhanot certainly is a man of very few words & probably believes in actions more than social media gimmicks.

A source reveals, "One such evening post pack up, Shalin expressed his concern over the waste carelessly dumped on the sets. In no time he started picking up the plastic bottles & garbage lying around by himself accompanied by his co- stars. We were rather impressed but also it created a different atmosphere on the sets & all of the crew followed suit. Shalin, who doesn't usually resort to social media to give a glimpse of his professional or personal life shared , "We have all been reduced to being mere online activists. I'm sure there are many who are really concerned about the environment but it is 2021 & even after enormous awareness on effects of plastic pollution, I don't see much of a change. People want to keep going as long as it doesn't hurt them & that is the problem. Also one should only preach when one practices. So it is always important to lead by example to send out a correct message across."
