In a recent interview, producer JD Majethia reveals that a new season of the popular sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ is in the pipeline
Good news for all 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' fans! The popular show will soon start rolling its next season. Yes, you read that right! In a recent interview, producer JD Majethia has revealed that 'everybody is ready to extend their efforts and the thought process is on' about the new season. For the unversed, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai was the most loved and popular television show featuring Rupali Ganguly (Monisha Sarabhai) and Sumeet Raghavan (Sahil Sarabhai) Satish Shah, and Ratna Pathak Shah.
Speaking to ETimes, JD Majethia stated that they agree with fans, that a new season should be made and that they will make the efforts. He was quoted saying, “I agree with fans. Ek aur season banna hi chahiye. We will make all the efforts. Everybody is ready to extend their efforts. Some more time is needed. People will have to wait a little bit. What the entire nation wants, we have to fulfill their wishes. We will put in extraordinary efforts. The thought process is on. We are figuring out how to manage. All the actors are busy. So we are figuring that out. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, which was created by Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia and directed by Deven Bhojani, revolves around the life of an upper-class Gujarati family, the Sarabhai's, who live in a luxury apartment building, and later in penthouses in South Mumbai. The popular sitcom ran on Star One from 1 November 2004 to 16 April 2006 and on Hotstar from 15 May 2017 to 17 July 2017 for two seasons. The show has become a cult classic and was a massive hit amongst fans.
