Says a source, “The channel had repeatedly hinted to Rohan and Kanchi that they should be a little more secretive about their relationship. They play cousins on screen and most daily soap viewers are extremely sensitive and conservative about image. So, the more Rohan and Kanchi become open about their feelings, the more it will clash with their on-screen image of siblings. Obviously, the channel did not like it.”

The source adds, “Whenever the duo got candid during interviews, the channel would warn them. But they took it lightly and finally, the channel has decided to sideline their track.”
We hear, the channel is planning to give prominence to the track of Naira (Shivangi Joshi), Naksh’s sister.
Rohan was earlier in a relationship with actress Yukti Kapoor, but the couple split. Soon afterwards, he met Kanchi on the sets of Yeh Rishta… and the rest, as they say, is history.
Talking about the show, will Naksh’s track being sidelined affect the show’s ratings? Guess we’ll have to wait and watch.
