Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is among the most popular television shows, and it often tops the TRP charts. The show completed 12 years on 12th January, and even after so many years, the makers have ensured that the storyline is as gripping as ever and it has kept the viewers hooked to the show. Recently, fans were quite shocked to find out about Shivangi Joshi’s character Naira’s death and were sad to learn that #Kaira’s love story will be ending. However, Shivangi Joshi had reassured fans that she won’t be leaving the show, and will be back with a new character.
Now, the recent promo shows Shivangi Joshi return on the show with an all-new avatar, that fans are quite surprised to see. In the recently released promo, Shivangi can be seen in a boxing ring, and looks intense as she gets ready to battle it out with her opponent. Of course, this isn’t Naira, but rather her doppleganger. Kartik can also be seen running in the promo, while he narrates, “tumhare bina saans lena seekh raha hu.” He says that while it is quite difficult, he is learning to live without her.
Shivangi’s new avatar has left fans all excited! While one social media user commented, “Our Sherni is back as new avatar #ShivangiJoshi #yrkkh,” another one wrote, “Our Boxer!!! Meanwhile, earlier while speaking to ETimes, Shivangi Joshi spoke about her reaction to her character Naira’s death. She said, “I think everyone on the sets knows about my first reaction, when I was being narrated Naira's death sequence. Mohsin was also there, we were together while hearing the narration. I started crying, I wanted to stop my tears and I tried my best to control my emotions but I couldn't control myself. Even Rajan Shahi sir asked me why are you crying but I had no answer. While rehearsing I was choked because of the emotions."
