Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and many more in pivotal roles, the current track of the show has left the fans divided. In the previous episode it was seen that despite having a laugh with Abhinav, Abhir is still angry at his parents for making him go to the Birla mansion. He even rejects the gifts Akshara bought for him, leaving her heart broken.

Today’s episode starts with Manish and Muskaan bonding with each other while cooking. As Swarna and Kairav ask them if they don’t have work, Muskaan says she is on leave and Manish explains that he is the boss, so he doesn’t have any work. Kairav takes away his grandfather after informing him that the clients are calling. As Muskaan gets busy talking to her friend, Akshara runs out of the kitchen, leaving the gas stove on. In the Birla house, Ruhi and Abhir are seen putting on covers to his school notebook. She asks her brother to write his name as her handwriting is not that good. She tries to ask him if he is still mad at Akshara and Abhinav, but he refuses to talk about them. Thinking that Abhir might get a shoe bite, a worried Akshara took her son’s old shoes and rushed to Birla house. Back at the Goenka mansion, Suhasini goes to make herself a kada when Swarna and Surekha rush in. They stop her from using the gas, as it had been on for sometime. Further in the episode, Sureka goes on to slam Muskaan for being careless. She scolds her for not being sharp-minded and putting the lives of the family members in danger. On the other hand at the Birla mansion, as the kids are getting ready, Manjiri notices that Abhir has written Abhinav’s name as his father and she loses her cool. She tears off the cover and explains to Mahima and Shefali that he needs to know that Abhimanyu is his father now. Akshara overhears everything and lashes out at Manjiri. She tells that for the past 6 years Abhinav has been Abhir’s father and that will never change.

In the future episodes it will be seen that, upset with her confrontation with Manjiri, Akshara will run out of the Birla house. She will get into an altercation with Abhimanyu and express that she fears her son will turn out just like him, arrogant and stubborn. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes pan out.
