Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. In the last few episodes of the show, it was seen that Akshara organises a football match between the Goenka and Birla family, and a few youngsters to bring a smile on Abhir’s face.

In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, it will be seen that Akshara will successfully get Abhir to attend the football match under the pretext that they need him to pass them water bottles. As the family gets ready for the match, the rowdy boys arrive on the bikes and taunt the family. As Dadi and Mahima cheer for the family, the Birlas and Goenkas come together to defeat the group of rowdy boys. Abhir quietly observes the other team and picks out their weakness, during which Manjiri mistakenly scores a goal for the other team. As the teams take a break, everyone gathers around to talk about Abhir who is bringing water bottles and towels for everyone. Ruhi signals them to stop talking when Abhir approaches them. As they drink water, Abhir begins coaching everyone on how to play. He points out that Ruhi is their star player as she can hit the goal more often. Akshara smiles watching her son, and expresses gratitude that their plan has started working. As the game begins again, Abhimanyu fakes an injury so that Abhir can play on his behalf. On the other hand, Kairav and Muskaan’s relationship has started to suffer as she is not ready to let go of the grudge she holds for Abhimanyu. The once lovey dovey couple has started to fight on a daily basis on small small issues. It will be interesting to see if and how they will salvage their relationship in the upcoming episodes. It will also be seen that Abhimanyu asks for Akshara’s permission to stay in the Goenka house so he can help Abhir study. As he walks by he saves Abhinav’s photo frame from falling. Enraged at this, Muskaan accuses him of trying to replace Abhinav, which leaves everyone shocked.
