Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra and Shreyansh Kaurav starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In the last few episodes it was seen that the Goenka family and the Birla family come together to celebrate Abhinav’s birthday, however the joyous occasion will take a dark turn after he passes away in a horrific accident.

It was seen in the previous episode that Abhimanyu decides to live for Abhir’s happiness and excited plans for Abhinav’s birthday party. In today’s episode it will be seen that Abhinav’s birthday celebration starts with everyone heaping praises on his calm and mature behaviour. Even Manjiri and Surekha laud him for supporting Akshara and Abhir. Abhimanyu’s excitement for Abhinav’s birthday leaves Manish and Kairav sceptical. Hours before the celebration is supposed to start Abhimanyu takes Abhinav away from the resort for a special celebration. On one hand, it will be seen that Akshara will be getting ready for her husband expressing how lucky she is to have found him and on the other hand, the men will be seen sitting on a cliff, having some drinks and talking their hearts out. Abhinav will go on to jokingly reveal that Akshara always scolds him no matter the day or the time. As they are busy drinking and talking, it will be seen that Abhinav will slip and fall from the cliff and Abhimanyu will not be able to save him in time. Manish will witness this and misunderstand everything that happened. In the upcoming episodes it will be seen that Abhimanyu will be accused of killing Abhinav. Akshara and Abhir will blame him for snatching away the one person who was always their pillar of strength. It will be interesting to see how the Goenka and Birla families take in the shock of losing Abhinav. Will Akshara ever forgive Abhimanyu? How will Abhimanyu fill his family’s life with colours again? Fans have been eagerly waiting to know how the show proceeds further.
