Actor Ankita Lokhande has been giving her Insta followers a few glimpses of her tribute to her Pavitra Rishta co-star and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Not just Ankita, the entire team of Pavitra Rishta paid a musical tribute to the late actor at Zee Rishtey Awards 2020. Even veteran Marathi and Hindi film actor Usha Nadkarni, who played his mother Savita Deshmukh in the serial, gave a small speech about him which moved the audience. Later, a teary-eyed Ankita too gave a little speech about her ex-beau where she mentioned that she never thought that the person who talked about moon and stars will join them one day. Ankita, almost heartbroken, said that one day, she never imagined that she would say all this about Sushant.
"Aaj har dil shaant hai, kyu ki har dil mein Sushant hai," she started her verbal tribute at ZRA. She then continued, "Kabri socha nahi tha wo jo har din chaand taaron ki baatein karta tha, wo ek din khud chand taaron se baat karne chala jaayega. Kabhi socha nahi tha ki jisse dekh kar, kayion ne sapna dekna sikha, ek din usse dekh paana sapna ban jaayega. Sushant, aaj aapko yaad kar raha hai, aapki kutumb ka har rishta kyuki aapka aur hamara rishta sirf Pavitra nahi amar risita hai. Mene kabhi nahi socha tha ki ye din aayega jaha me ye sab bolungi. We miss you Sushant"
