Week 42 (October 13-19) has offered some relief to the
makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, for the show has climbed up the ladder. As
opposed to the 20th spot last week, this time it clinched the 14th position.
However, the team cannot celebrate yet as it is still far away from Top 10. We
assume, the anticipation surrounding the introduction of Hina Khan’s character,
Komolika, has earned more viewers for the show. It would be interesting to see
if her entry in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 helps rocket its impressions.
Furthermore, while Kasautii improved, Bigg Boss 12
dipped. The Salman Khan-hosted show has been unable to grab ample eyebrows
despite makers trying every trick in the book to lure the audience. In the
ongoing track, Rohit Sunchati and Megha Dhade have entered the reality show as
wild card contestants. We bet, the makers are keeping their fingers crossed
that this step helps the show.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been a Top 10 staple, however, in the past few weeks, it has had trouble scoring a spot in the Top 5. In Week 42, it stood at the 8th position. A slight improvement from the last time – it was at the 10th spot. Rubina Dilaik and Vivian Dsena starrer Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was not seen in the merit list in the past two weeks. This time it has made a comeback and was at No. 10.

Meanwhile, the Top 3 shows continued to be Naagin 3,
Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala became
the 5th most-watched show in the week in question, while Ishq Subah Allah
registered significant improvement and was at No.6. Kaun Banega Crorepati
didn’t perform as well in this week and acquired the 9th position.
