HIT OR FLOP: Kumkum Bhagya, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, Naagin 3, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?
Who likes to slip DOWN? Who doesn't like to shoot UP? But it's that time of the week again (Week 7, 2019) when some production houses and channels are not in a good mood. We bring you the report
Rohit Shetty has some magic wand. Will meet him and ask about it, soon. The Simmba director's Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 is on No.1 again. Well, he is the highest paid director in India for a reason. Waise he didn't confirm it but brushed off the question with a laugh in my last interview with him- lekin who confirms anything nowadays? Rather, how many people from Tellywood and Bollywood both, confirm? Zamaana badal gaya hai. At times, PR wants to know the questions you will ask the celeb he has organised your meeting with! Anyway, Rohit is a gem and that grouse can never be against him.
Ekta Kapoor is on cloud nine. She has brought Kumkum Bhagya back in Top 10, but then that show's twin Kundali Bhagya has slipped from 8 to 10. You win some, you lose some. FYI, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is still nowhere in the Top 10. So much of hype over Hina Khan, but has it translated into numbers? Certainly not enough to push it into the coveted list. Parth, Erica and Hina too have work to do. If you ask me, their task is quite cut out. It doesn't go away from my mind that how the second part of such a popular show is struggling to an extent. But as I said you don't lose all, Naagin 3 from the Balaji stable maintains its last week position of No 2.

Tujhse Hai Raabta's boat have been rocked. The rough waters of competition has thrown it from 5 to 7. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai can have a small tea-party, it has moved up from 6 to 5. Bet Team Tujhse Hai Raabta is hating Team Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
I shall be back next Thursday- perhaps it turns out to be the exceptional Thursday when temperatures are flayed in the offices of the producers and broadcasters, or is that wishing for too much?
