HIT OR FLOP: Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Tujhse Hai Raabta, Kumkum Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2?
It’s Thursday, which means it’s the time to know which show has climbed up the ladder on the TRP charts, and which show has slipped down. Not just the top 10 shows, we shall also enlighten you on those missed the mark and failed to enter the list. Not too many twists, but yes, quite a few of them slipped down, and the rest just maintained the balance.

This has become a norm week after week, that the reality show Nach Baliye 9 has been missing the mark. The reentry of ex-lovers hasn’t helped. We would be pleasantly surprised if the show manages to enter the top 10 until it’s on air. Second series that’s been missing from the list is Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. The buzz around Komolika’s return hasn’t fetched any numbers for this Ekta Kapoor show.


Now, let’s get down to know which show has managed to be stable on the chart and which has faltered severely. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata is unbeatable at the top spot as it stays there for the 6th consecutive week. Quite an achievement! Any guesses which show is at the 2nd slot? Again, it is Kundali Bhagya and next in line follows Kumkum Bhagya. The makers have managed to keep these shows in the top 5 list.


Amidst all these serials, like a breath of fresh air comes Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 at number 5. This show has managed to score a hattrick as it holds on to the 5th spot for the third consecutive week. Another reality show follows on number 6 and that is Superstar Singer Singing Ka Kal. Last time, this reality show was at number 7, so it has gone up by one position.



Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah comes next in line at number 8. It’s a huge drop for the show because for the past 2 weeks, the serial was placed at number 3. Despite the return of Sonu, with a new face being brought in, the show has dwindled on the TRP charts. Choti Sardarni which had been at the 9th spot since last 3 weeks has slipped up to number 8. As Choti Sardarni slipped up to 8, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke went down to the 9th spot from the 8th. And finally, the 10th position is occupied by Tujhse Hai Raabta which as reentered the top 10 list after missing the mark the last 2 times.
