Just when we thought that Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 2 will get the boost it needed with respect to its ratings in Week 26 (June 23-29), the tables have turned. For the fantasy drama did not feature in the Top 10.
Yes, believe it! Naagin 2, which has never missed a spot in the coveted list ever since it premiered in October 2016, failed to make it this time around. In fact, the Mouni Roy-starrer acquired the 12th position in the said week.
The result comes as a shock because the show’s finale episode aired on June 24 and considering the hype around it, we were expecting it to perform well.
You may recall, Naagin 2 dropped 2 positions in Week 25 (June 16-22).

Furthermore, Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta, which premiered the same day Naagin 2 went off air, made a grand entry into Top 10 and was the fourth most-watched show. Let’s wait and watch to see if it manages to maintain TRPs.

For the 4th consecutive week, Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs lead the leader-board. Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai swapped positions and were at No. 2 and 3 respectively. Notice how the two shows have held their ground for weeks now.

Up next, Naagin 2 is not the only show that missed a spot in Top 10 this week, The Kapil Sharma Show too failed to impress. The comedy show was at the 17th position in Week 26. The guests included renowned Indian athletes Baichung Bhutia, Anju Bobby George and Sushil Kumar among others on June 24 and Paresh Rawal and Kartik Aryan on June 25.
Evidently, the audience didn’t warm up to the stars.
