TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor Continues To Rule, Bags The 1st And 2nd Position With Naagin 2 And Kumkum Bhagya
Here is the weekly dope on your favourite TV shows. Star Plus’ Ishqbaaz makes a surprising entry into the Top 10
Looks like Ekta Kapoor is willing to settle for nothing less than the number 1 spot. For, two of her shows continue to rule the TV leaderboard. Week 50 (December 9-15), saw Colors’ Naagin 2 and Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya retaining the coveted top positions. The former has grabbed the no. 1 spot for the sixth consecutive week.

Kumkum Bhagya is on the 2nd position this week as well (Hina Khan’s Exit Weakens Yeh Rishta..., Ekta’s Naagin 2 Is Still No.1, Dec 15). The rekindled romance between Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) is proving to help the drama stay in the top 2. Add to this Purab (Vin Rana), Dadi (Daljeet Soundh) and Sarla’s (Supriya Shukla) efforts to expose Tanu and Aliya (Leena Jumani-Shikha Singh) which is likely to keep the audience glued for a longer duration.

Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show slipped from No. 3 to No.4 while its other show while Super Dancer climbed one notch and grabbed the 3rd highest spot.

Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki too has moved up the ladder to claim the No. 5 position. The ongoing track wherein Harman (Vivian Dsena) is trying his best to give his wife Saumya (Rubina Dilaik) the love and respect she deserves has tugged at the audience’s heartstrings.

Making a surprising entry this week on the 10th position is Star Plus’ Ishqbaaz starring Nakuul Mehta, Kunal Jaisingh and Leenesh Mattoo.

Star’s other shows Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai retained their positions at No. 7 and No. 9 respectively. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya saw dropped from No. 5 to No. 8. We wonder what has ticked off the audience.
