Disha Parmar On Rahul Vaidya Proposing Her On Bigg Boss 14, 'It Was A Very Bold Decision And I Was Shocked'- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO
Television's most adorable couple Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar recently joined SpotboyE.com for an exclusive video chat where the two not only spoke about the success of their latest music video Madhanya but also shared the kind of wedding they want in real life. 

The two opened up about the guest list and the Rahul Vaidya's proposal on National television in Bigg Boss 14; 



Rahul how does it feel as your song Madhanya is already a success? 
This has become our wedding song. We had not thought about it while we said yes for the project. But the audience has showered so much of love on it and associated this to our real life wedding. So, I am taking this as a blessing. Due to COVID-19, not many weddings are happening but I can assure you the moment things will be fine and the wedding season will be on looking at the response, I can guarantee this song will be 'The Wedding Song'. 

What response have you all received  personally?
Rahul: On social media, we have been receiving a lot of videos where people have made reels on this song. In smaller villages also people have taken their old wedding footage and clubbed the song and posted it on the Internet. It makes us feel really very special. I remember even when we were shooting for the song, I had told Disha 'Dekhna ya gaana bahut bada banega' because of the way it was shot. 
Disha Parmar: It's not like a party number that it will pick up and then quickly fuzz out. It is going to take its own time and with time it's gonna get bigger and bigger. So, I think that's also something great about it. 


What is a perfect wedding according to Disha?
I think a perfect wedding would be where only your close family and friends are there. It should be a small intimate wedding not like a big grand show happening. You can interact with all your guests. The only people who you like should be present there at your main event (wedding). 

Rahul, do you second her thoughts?
Rahul: Somebody has told me that in the past three months, the people you have talked to are only closest to you. So, you should only call the people who were in touch with you in the last three months. 
Disha: I had also told him the same thing while making the guest list. Shaadi mein unko daalna hai jinse teen mahine mein baat hoti hai. Baakiyon ko reception mein daalna jinse ek saal mein baat hoti hai. And I think for Rahul that would be Bigg Boss house. 
Rahul: She is right. So, yes all the Bigg Boss people are invited for our wedding. 


Disha how bold did you find Rahul's wedding proposal on Bigg Boss 14?
Disha: So, I will tell you on 10th night the promo went on air after the episode. But on 9th I started getting messages on Twitter from people saying 'oh something is going to happen' because they are a day ahead from the telecast. So, he must have spoken about it and discussed it with his housemates. And I got a feeling that something is going to happen. But when that thing came on air and I saw the promo it just hit differently even after knowing and my first reaction was shocked, emotional then getting into happy and then obviously getting into the gravity of it. But it was a very surreal and beautiful moment. I had my Mom, brother and few of my friends at home because it was my birthday and they had come down to cut the cake. And everbody saw it and it was a very happy moment. I can't express in words how that feeling was but it was a very bold move by him. Without knowing what will be the answer, keeping patience and anxiety jawab aaya. So, I think we should know from Rahul what was his feelings that moment. 

Rahul what was going on your mind when you proposed her on the national television?
Rahul: Actually I proposed her without thinking what his mother and brother will think. But that house is such where you can't take decisions from your mind. So, I just proposed to her without thinking about the consequences. But then every week, Salman Sir kept teasing me about it and the way team didn't tell me her response for the longest time. I have also seen that people find love inside Bigg Boss house but I think I was the only one who was in love with someone from the outside, not in the house. And somebody had also joked with me that usually there are 13 contestants in Bigg Boss house but Disha was the 14th contestant of this season. 
Disha: Without doing any hardwork, I got the perks of Bigg Boss and all thanks to Rahul Vaidya for it. 


Disha will you now like to go as an participant?
Disha: Trust me, I am not someone who will be able to deal with it. With Rahul I had that journey to mera hogaya hai. Frankly, I have also done Bigg Boss with him this year. I have experienced it so you will not see me in any other season, sorry. 
Rahul: Bigg Boss ek to andar chal raha hota hai dusra bahar social media par. And Disha ne bahar wala Bigg Boss khela hai. 
Disha: Like he said, I was one of the invisible Bigg Boss contestants. 

After you guys shared the picture in your wedding attires. Did relatives and friends reach out to complain Shaadi mein bulaya nahi?
Rahul: My friends got upset and said "You are married? You didn't even invite? Kaise ho yaar." People got very hurt and my relatives started calling my mother. One of my Mamaji (Uncle) messaged Congratulations! andar se to dukhi the but waise smiley wala message bhej rahe the of congratulations. So, I had to tell him that Mamaji it's a music video and we are yet to get married. Then he was laughing whole heartedly. 
Disha: Everyone around felt that Shaadi hogai hai and were also offended that why were we not invited? But I think that was the idea by the makers and that's what they wanted to do to create a buzz around it and that happened. So it all worked well. 


What sort of projects are being offered to you Rahul, post Bigg Boss 14?
Rahul: Actually I am getting a lot of acting offers and I am very happy and feel very lucky that people are considering me for all the projects. But honestly speaking the TV shows which are being offered to me, I don't think I would be able to give my 25 days a month to them. Because my life is very unorganised and mismanaged. I go to sleep late and also get up late. The song recordings goes till late in the night and when I do live shows which isn't happening right now due to COVID, I have to travel a lot. I can't function with the thought process that you have to start at 7-8 in the morning till late evening. Honestly, I am not habituated to have a discipined life. But yes I am getting a lot of collabration offers like I am endorsing a lot of brands on social media. Disha and I have also shot for a commercial recently and there are more in the pipeline. We are busy shooting individually and then together also. So, it is a beautiful time for us. 

So, will we see you doing something more on TV ever?
Any show which will allow me to be myself I will do it. Main koi acting nahi karna chahta. 


What is happening on the work front for you Disha?
I would have loved to sign up a TV show in 2020 but then you know what happened. And things are yet at standstill. So, I do want to do a show whenever things get better and we are back to shooting normally. Be it web or daily soap I am ok with both. I am very happy with television as it's my comfort zone.
