Shivin Narang who’s currently seen in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 has been linked-up with Tejasswi Prakash. In an EXCLUSIVE chat with SpotboyE.com, the actor speaks about his KKK journey with her and even his two aborted tasks that upset Rohit Shetty
Your fans are really surprised that you aborted two stunts.
Yes, but let me explain. I have this macho guy image for my fans as they know that whatever stunts I perform in the show are solely done by me. Right from breaking a glass or jumping from a building or a train, they know I can pull it off, since I keep sharing videos and pictures on social media. But on Khatron Ke Khiladi, when they saw me scared to attempt stunts that involved creepy crawlies, they sent me messages asking 'What’s wrong?'. To be honest, I have a phobia of rats and since both the stunts in question had rats in them, I had no choice but to abort them.
We heard you didn't want to do the show earlier, so what convinced you to go for it eventually?
I have said no to Khatron Ke Khiladi for many years as I used to feel why does one need to put themselves in risk and attempt such daredevilry. But this time, when they offered me the show, I decided to challenge myself. So, I did this show for just myself, not for anybody else.
Any stunt that you performed which surprised you pleasantly when it was over?
There was a stunt jahan main ulta rod pe chal raha hoon and then seedha hogaya hoon in the air. I guess it was the toughest for any person to attempt it but I did it rather smoothly. Before me, I think it was Aditya Narayan who did that in the last season. So those who are upset by the fact that I aborted 2 tasks should wait and see my journey ahead, I am sure they will be equally surprised.
Fans just can't seem to get over your pairing with Tejasswi Prakash…
When we do some show, fans often find chemistry between a male and female actor and make their hashtags or start commenting about it on social media. But I really don't get it where they found that chemistry between Tejasswi and I in KKR which is a reality show.
All said and done, I am thankful to them for showering so much of love on us. Undoubtedly, we are very good friends. But it is surprising to see people taking it in a way slightly more than that. Kyunki mujhe nahi lagta isse pehle kabhi KKK mein kisiko aise link kiya gaya hoga. Baaki reality shows mein phir bhi ho jata hai, but yahan?

Now, that's great. I would also love to work with Tejasswi. We had a good time in Bulgaria and we are still in touch. She is a happy soul and it will be fun to shoot with her.

Rohit sir is a very supportive person. And when it comes to stunts, he is always there to guide and motivate us. That's why, if someone gives up, he doesn't like it. The same thing happened with me when I aborted the tasks and he questioned me. It's okay. Nothing wrong in that.
