Holi is just a day away and we can already feel the festive vibes. Although the ongoing pandemic may not allow us to go out and play Holi in full fervour, our television shows have definitely made us feel good by showing the colourful episodes on their ongoing shows.
And one such show is RadhaKrishn starring Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh in main leads. The show had a grand celebration of Holi where Sumedh who is also a dancer in real life was seen performing with Mallika. The duo in an exclusive video interview with SpotboyE.com revealed what fun they had while shooting the sequence. Talking about the grand Holi celebration on the show and how he enjoyed playing with colours off screen, Sumedh said, "It's been two and half years now that I am into the skin of the character. And my body language has also become like that. So, when I perform such songs in my show, my body moves like that. Other than that, if I perform something else so it becomes very difficult for me. I really enjoyed this performance also which we shot recently. A lot of people were there on the sets and shot ke beech mein jaise hi time milta tha so ham sabko colour karte the. So, I had to do that by planning ki kisko kab lagau taaki vo bhaag na paaye. It was a challenge but I nailed it and I applied colour on everybody even those who made excuses of having allergy from the colours, end of the day, the whole unit was coloured and I was very happy." Mallika also added, "I also love playing colours. I feel hum colour wala khana hi khaate hain aur paani bhi peete hain. Itni Holi khelte hain ki har jagah bas colour hi laga hota hai(laughs)".
As the Holi sequence shown in the episode claimed to be Dwarka's aakhri Holi, a lot of news report claimed that the show may go off-air. However, the onscreen couple had the funniest response to the rumour. Watch the video above to know more.
