Ok, so everyone knows I was bitten by a dog on the sets of Kya Haal. It happened in April and Optimystix (producers) are still not paying me. I was under treatment for 4 full months, they are supposed to pay me for that- but till-date that 4 month compensation is pending.
Look at their cheapness, they told me to avoid the media and not reveal that it's a dog bite. Basically, they didn't want to own up that it was their fault. Shouldn't I have had a training session with that dog so we become accustomed to each other? The dog went on to bite me near my eye.
TV works in a crazy way. If we ask for something sensible that might slow down the shoots, actors are labelled as Tantrum Kings/Queens.
I have kept asking them for money but yesterday I gave up when they told me that they will settle it for just 95,000 or 1 lakh. Badle mein, they offered me a parallel lead in their new show Ladies Special. Now let me tell you that during my last days in Kya Haal, I was told that I hadn't done a certain track well enough. So why do you want to cast an actress who is not good enough according to your standards? It is all basically buying time. But this is only playing with my career. This 1 lakh amount too they told me that they were arranging with lots of difficulty.
Worse still, after the dog bit me, they floated a story in the media that I was anyway wanting to leave the show? Why mix the two? Yes, I was unhappy with the track but that had nothing to do with me going out of the show. I went out of Kya Haal because I was not in a position to shoot after that dog bite.
And do you know that they told me that I wasn't doing too well as an actor 6 months before the dog bite? So, they were okay with me for six months after that- isn't that tantamount to cheating your audience?

The scar still remains. I undergo auditions, and even if I get a new role I might end up losing it as the strong cameras of shoot capture every detail. Now, I may have to undergo laser surgery, which has been advised as the best possible option.
