Shefali Bagga, who participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13 after her successful journey of a news anchor, is now stepping towards acting. Shefali is making her acting debut with a music video and she is quite excited for it.
In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, Shefali revealed how the controversial reality show helped her to fulfil her childhood dream;
How did Bigg Boss happen to you?
Someone from the Bigg Boss creatives called a senior in my office looking for me. They tried to approach me on social media but then thought it's easier to contact me through a media person. Initially, I thought that call was for Weekend Ka Vaar that I will be interviewing the contestants but when they told me that they want me as a contestant, I was surprised at first but then things just happened.
After Bigg Boss you have gained a fan following that's huge. How does it feel?
Feels great when people know you, love you and want to become like you. People from all age groups, youngsters and elders and even kids recognise and give so much love. I am just thankful for their support. It really feels so good to see my parents are so proud of me and they get so happy when people, including my fans, talk to them about me.
How has Bigg Boss changed your life?
It turned the tables for me. I was on the other side taking interviews of people and now I am here giving interviews as people now want to know more of me. Got so much love, respect and appreciation. Opened many opportunities, especially in the acting field.
From an anchor to now almost an actor, how has the journey been?
My life from the start has been a roller coaster and I love the thrill. From a science student to anchor to Bigg Boss now acting. I have wanted to become an actor since I was 5-6 year old.
Are films, serials or more reality shows in the offering?
Everything provided by the content should be good. I have always taken that risk and tried new things in my life. Done what my heart felt I should do.
Tell us something about your music video that's due to release soon?
So this is my debut. We have worked on my look and I fell in love again with myself after seeing the outcome. People will see me in a new avatar. Song is a party song, where the girl is glamorous and the guy is talking about her looks .
How did this video come along ?
After coming from Bigg Boss 13, I got many offers, initially I was not sure whether I wanted to get into this industry although I love TV and I think I am born for it, but somehow things didn’t fall right and then lockdown happened. So during that time I listened to this song and loved it. The music, the vibe, I thought this is my type. Shot it when things became normal and I had a fun time shooting for it in Goa. I gelled up so well with the team of this song. The video and the music- everything is so good, fingers crossed hope this does really well.
Tell us something about the rapport you share with Anmol Preet- the singer whose music video you featured in?
He is so funny, that sometimes in the middle of the shoot, where I am giving so many hot shots, he makes me laugh like anything. Also, he is very caring.
