Vikas Gupta and I were 'just friends', Ekta was misquoted

Here's his side of the story.

How did you get to know Vikas Gupta?
We met for work and I did a couple of episodes under his production house. We became very good friends.
Only friends?
Buddies. We were always there for each other, thick and thin.
How did the 'controversial' incident happen with you?
A lot of things came together to cause the incident. There comes a phase in life when you have to separate from someone for a certain reason (pauses). Anyway, now I want to be just myself- positive and focused.
What took you so long to lodge a complaint against Vikas Gupta?
It’s not about what took me so long. I never expected that things will go so out of hand that I'll have to take the recourse of law.
Ekta Kapoor said that you and Vikas were in a steady relationship...
(Cuts in) I have cleared it with Ekta ma'am. Things are fine between her and me, now. She told me that she was misquoted.
She also mentioned that you and Vikas spent a holiday in Bangkok recently...
I didn't go out with Vikas alone. We had friends accompanying us.
You have a film coming up with Sanah Kapoor. Is this your publicity stunt?
Wouldn't I have then called for a big press conference?
Vikas Gupta has gone missing. Where is he?
No idea. I am not in touch with him anymore.
