‘Dhurandhar’ Actor Nadeem Khan Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assault Of Domestic Worker On False Promise Of Marriage

Bollywood actor Nadeem Khan, known for his recent role in Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar, has been arrested in Mumbai following serious allegations of sexual assault made by his former domestic worker. According to police records, the 41-year-old woman filed a complaint accusing Khan of repeatedly raping her over almost a decade by misleading her with a false promise of marriage.

The incident came to light after the woman, who had worked as a domestic help for several actors, alleged that she first met Khan around 2015 while on the job. Over time, the two reportedly grew close, and she claimed Khan promised to marry her. Based on this assurance, she says, the actor entered into a physical relationship with her. These alleged encounters took place both at her residence in Malwani and at Khan’s house in Versova in Mumbai’s western suburbs, she told investigators.

For years the relationship is said to have continued, with the woman believing Khan’s commitment to marriage. However, when he recently refused to make good on the promise, she approached the police and lodged a detailed complaint. The Versova Police initially registered the case, before transferring it on a Zero FIR basis to the Malvani Police Station — as the first alleged incident occurred in the complainant’s local jurisdiction.

A Malvani Police official said, “We have arrested the accused based on the statement provided by the complainant. The actor is currently in police custody as we continue to verify the allegations and gather further evidence.”

While Khan’s performance in Dhurandhar has brought him visibility, authorities have clarified that the charges centre on the alleged false promise of marriage, a key aspect under which consent may be legally questioned.
